Arborist Reports

Land Development & Sub-Division Tree Management Plans

Proposed Land Developments and Sub-Divisions require a "Tree Management Plan" before an application can be submitted to a Municipality for review.

We conduct an onsite tree inventory and tag trees for our report so that we can assess and identify trees for removal/retention, tree canopies, tree protection barriers and plot replacement trees.

Tree plans are drawn to scale in conjunction with the engineering plans.

For individual lots (or "Single Family Dwellings") our arborist reports inventory bylaw protected trees for removal/retention, reviews and assesses potential tree conflict then clearly communicates this in the report.

Arborist supervision & tree protection fencing / root armouring can be required when there is potential conflict with the trees.

Garden Suites, Accessory Buildings and House Additions

Arborist reports are typically required when Garden Suites, House Additions and Secondary suites applications are submitted as trees can potentially conflict with their location, access to the construction area or in the area in which materials or debris will be stored.

Additionally, underground servicing may be in conflict with protected trees if being re-newed, upgraded or removed.
